Sous Vide London Broil

Thickness is the key. Use London Broils (or Top Rounds) at least 2 inches thick. Will serve 2.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Inch thick London Broil. 1 pound piece for 2-3 people. 2 pound piece for 5-6.
  • Marinate or rub of your choice (see below)
  • 2 Tablespoons butter or oil
  • S&P

Suggestions for Marinates or Rubs:

  • Montreal Seasoning
  • Brazilian Steak Seasoning
  • Rudy’s Rub
  • Smashed garlic with herbs (like thyme or rosemary)
  • Just salt and pepper

Directions:

Coat the steak with the dry rub you prefer and put the steak in the Sous Vide bag. Add a little butter or oil and massage bag to coat the entire steak Seal the bag.

Sous Vide for 6 hours at 130° F. When done, grill for 1 to 2 minutes on every side, 5-7 minutes total. Our image shows an 18 ounce steak with Montreal Seasoning.
