Eggs and Toast In A Bowl

Here at The Net Gourmet we talk about easy nutritional breakfasts quite a bit. Let’s face it, breakfast is boring. Everyone says it’s the most important meal of the day, but it’s not like we can make eggs Benedict before we head out to work in the morning.

This is why we’ve talked about keeping polenta ready to go in the refrigerator, or keeping a container of granola for those quick breakfasts.

Here’s another quick and easy breakfast. Two soft boiled eggs in a bowl with two broken up slices of toast. Tastes as good as any eggs and toast breakfast but you can make it on the fly.

Just heat up a small pan of water until boiling and slowly drop in two eggs. Set the timer for 6 minutes. When it goes off, remove the eggs, run under cool water so you can handle them. Drop the toast, by the time the toast is ready you should be done peeling the eggs. Butter the toast and tear it into the bowl, Break up the eggs and eat

It doesn’t take much more effort than cooking the toast itself.
